Only 30 kilometers from Curahuasi, the thermal baths of Cconoc, are home to a large number of visitors. The baths are kept open by the municipality and services such as bungalows, restaurant and parking are available.
According to historical records, these hot springs were a resting place during the time of the Inca Empire, since they are located along the Inca trail. That is, from Cusco, through Tarahuasi, Marcahuasi and to arrive at the crossing of the Apurimac River, in the area called Maucachaca on the banks of which Cconoc is located.
There are different possibilities to get from Curahuasi to Cconoc (taxi, public transportation, guided walk, ..).
