“To be never forgotten”
On our way from Nasca to Cusco we enjoyed our extraordinary stay at Casa Lena with dutch-speaking hostess Stefanie and her husband Gilder. Besides the beautiful surroundings and the small-scaled tours they organised for us, we considered it very much as an added value to our journey that we could visit their project with local children. Surprisingly positive and heartwarming! To be never forgotten…

“Great place to be”
We went to Casa lena with my friends for 2 weeks and we had a very warm welcome from the young couple with their 2 children.
We made nice day trips with the family, you can’t find them in the guides bur they were top locations. Horseback riding, great breakfast…

“Beautiful place, friendly people”
While visiting some friends abroad, we stayed at this beautiful place in Curahuasi. As soon as we arrived at Casa Lena, we were in for a warm welcome. First, you have the sight of three kind and gentle dogs welcoming you with their big smiles before you are taken to your place by the friendly volunteers and staff. The view of the surrounding mountains is beautiful. The silence of the night has a very nice contrast with the kids laughing during the day. Some parts of the building are used by a organization who helps the local kids. It was heartwarming to see the joy and pleasure on these kids faces during their activities.
