These conical rock formations rise up to about 5 metres and offer an overwhelming view. Over the years, the wind and rain have paved the way for these formations, giving them a variety of silhouettes, which could also be from the magma of the nearby Qarwarasu and Sotaya volcanoes.

After dinner, we go and rest early, because the next day we have breakfast at 7 am. The next day, we drive one hour to ‘la bosque de piedras’ (the woods of the stones), we stop several times to enjoy the many views, llamas and alpacas and take photos of the different sceneries. On the way back we stop at ‘la casa de los Pitufos (house of the Smurfs)’ to eat lunch, before we drive back home in 4 and a half hours.
